NCIS: I was amused when Franks called Tony "Probie." Does that mean Tony has been promoted to competent in Franks' eyes? Or just ally?
Someone over at TWOP speculated that, if Tony was sent to Mexico by Vance to actually take out Alejandro and not just "follow and report," he is doing something he'd never done before (sanctioned assassination), so he would be a "probie" in Mike Franks' eyes in terms of his assigned task. That's the only explanation that makes sense to me, unless Franks was making it obvious that Tony is becoming another Gibbs.
I don't see Tony being an assassin, though he would kill someone if someone else was in danger. If you want an assassin, you'd send Ziva.
Well, she was being made a citizen at the time.
I was just happy Tony was in tourist-wear. He always looks smoking hot in casual shirts and jeans and an intense expression on his face.
You know the thing that bugged me about last night's CM? The fact that the rolling black-outs were at night. I've lived in suburban LA my entire life and I don't recall them doing rolling black-outs ever at night because that's when demand goes down, they are usually between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., during peak usage. In the summer we have to endure commercial after commercial reminding us to “flex our power” by running appliances after dark. It totally pulled me out of the story and made me angry at the writers. Tim Curry was very creepy though
OMG, Dawn, you're totally right! I'm forever folding dried laundry in the middle of the night because I try not to start washing until after 7 (San Diego, not LA, but still). That was in the back of my brain, but I couldn't figure out what was bugging me about it. Thank you.
Oh, wordy-word word.
And also, what Connie said.
Though Tony does look nice in a well tailored suit, as well. It's the intense thing that gets me.
There is nothing like a focused Tony. I like him goofy, but when he gets his agent on and really buckles down, he is hot like the sun.
Now I'm going to have to re-watch this past season's opener, when he's tied to the chair and wit-duelling the terrorist.
I loved that season opener of NCIS, but the next episode left me cold and I haven't watched since. After all this time, Tony should be not so goofy anymore. I'm tired of the whole goofy frat-boy schtick.
