I think there are some Medium fans here. Check out this mind-blowing article about Jake Weber here: [link]
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Wow.
Seconding the wow. Jake Weber has the most relaxed "ordinary American guy" accent I've ever heard. Way more so than even Barrowman's Not!Scottish one.
Interview with Seamus Dever - who plays Ryan on Castle.
Huh. Possibly anti-climactic season ender for NCIS. Gibbs seems to be too off the hook, professionally, for what seems clearly, legally, a crime.
Personally, on the other hand...

Me too. I had a whole internal dialogue about it.
"She turned the sign to 'closed', so he knows something's up."
"Didn't he keep a shotgun in the store?"
"I think so, but does he have time to get to it, and can he bring himself to fire on a woman?"
Very tense making, though not quite as uncomfortable as the fear that Gibbs and wasserface might kiss...
But the biggest lesson of Law & Order? Justice may not always prevail, but even when it doesn't, the good guys have a scotch, go home, and come back to work the next morning. That's character.

Glurg.
I was very reassured by Gibbs circling "Don't Involve Lawyers" so definitively.
And Frank's "I can pull the trigger with my thumb" is very badass.
"Didn't he keep a shotgun in the store?"
I'm hoping it's a trap. They know what she is up to, as does Vance now, and Gibbs did warn his dad to stay somewhere else. I'm still disappointed that no one found a reason to shoot the lawyer.
