Bones: Zach!
Lots and lots of Zach!
I was hoping for the former boss to make an appearance.
I was hoping for the former boss to make an appearance.
Yeah, I'm not sure what was up with his almost Stalin-esque removal from the show (whether it was the actor's decision or not, his lack of almost any mention is odd).
I hope that this "we're never happening" thing isn't just a string-out.
Next week looks like fun though.
Anyplace on the internet to legally watch The Mentalist? The weather's bad so my damn dish cut out again.
No, Zenkitty. They're mean like that.
Is this the 100th episode of Bones? With the flashback?
Big meanies.
Yes, this was the 100th episode of Bones. It was also directed by David Boreanaz.
Was there a big UST payoff?
I love Sweets realizing he completely misjudged the dynamic between them. And I'm glad Bones realizes that the two of them don't have the basis of a long-term relationship between them. The argument at the end of the flashback distilled their differences. And I'm so glad it didn't go in the rom-com direction of the woman deciding to change herself in order to make the relationship work. Though Booth was trying to push her that way.
The show can now admit that they are very close to one another but not necessarily romantically involved. It was a surprisingly sophisticated approach to this kind of thing. "Yes, oodles of oost, it would be passionate and romantic, but one of the parties is able to look at it practically and not like the odds."
Blaming Brennan's problems entirely on her parents' leaving isn't completely fair, because her parents really cared about each other, in their Bonny and Clyde way.
And Zach! How I've missed you, Zach!

Really? Oh, I can't imagine how TWOP is going to look right now. They will not be happy.
