I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

I think you also get in trouble for shooting into a populated subway car.

Don't you get in trouble for that?

Yes, you have to be in imminent danger of your life. His back to you, NSM.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yell an insult to his parentage and make him turn around, THEN shoot him.

Always Anti-fascist!

You could always go the Kellerman route and shoot him AS he gets Miranda. Seriously...it was like "You have the right to remain silent.Bam!" I've seen it a few times and still laugh nervously. But I like the backstory on that one better than chocolate.David Simon wrote this whole arc on H:LOTS about Luther Mahoney, the Moriarty of the West Balmer drug trade, right? And he goes in for a meeting with the suits and the suits are all like "David, sweetie, baby, cookie, honey. Love your stuff, but our guys are totes gonna catch the big bad drug dealer. Right?"
And Simon being Simon was probably like "Why? Because the police never caught This Guy, and they had to let This Other Guy go...people do get by with this shit sometimes."

So they say "Well, he has to die, then. We can't let people watching our sponsors think that people don't pay for drug dealing." So, Simon, still rolling his eyes forever, set out to write the most ambiguous officer-involved in the history of TV. Because he was damned if he'd give us the easy satisfaction. I still ponder the level of fuck-you that takes, even though it's a landmark in procedural TV.
