They sound like me, cheering myself through reruns. Only I don't consider it working. You know?

Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Man, that article someone linked to back in the day about Jim Rockford suggestions totally had better ideas. But most of them have gigs.
Dermot--I have fond thoughts about him, but I think it's because he reminds me of someone IRL. I can't imagine him carrying a series.
I don't dislike the guy, but he's sort of Generic Handsome Guy...Jim Rockford is a wiseass. Also, Rockford itself was kind of a copy/update of Maverick. How many copies? Also, I'd have thought since Knight Rider and Bionic Woman tanked, nobody would try that anymore.
Jim Rockford is kinda unthinkable without Garner. I just can't get past that.

That's what I was thinking.
Me either, not really...hence all the conditionals. Nor Angel without Margolin, in all his love-to-hate-him glory. ETA: Besides there was already one "Rockford" homage on TV recently...it was called "Veronica Mars"
At least it's not Dylan McDermott, which is who I pictured first.
I cannot stand Dermot Mulroney. Full stop. He cannot stand in the footsteps of Garner.
I think there are actors who can, but Mulroney ain't it.
Jesse, aren't they the same person? Which I think is the real problem with this choice.
I think Dylan McDermott has a personality. I liked him in Deep Blue, although it was a sucky show. Dermot, considerably less distinguishable from the masses.
Grace Park has been cast in Hawaii 5-0 too. I forgot that The Cleaner was cancelled.
