It's like they had the idea for the tricked out house - but they couldn't hang a really good plot on it.

Did anyone catch the Deschanel sisters act on Bones?
Well, it's currently in progress EST so, sort of (I'm a half hour behind).
Speaking of which: "That's a chunk of Santa!"
Oh Bones, don't change your dinner hour gross-out ways. I almost find it endearing now (since I usually eat just a bit later).
Then end of Bones was eerily prescient of our conversation in Bitches today.
I was seriously disappointed with the Brennan family reunion. I mean, minimal scenes with Tempy's family, Zooey was basically doing schtick (and with way less affect than Emily, which, I guess, is some kind of achievement - must run in the family) and Max was just there. Bleh. I think I've been spoiled by prior Bones XMAS episodes.
the getting evidence off Booth scene was funny though.
Oh, don't get me wrong, there was fun stuff this episode. It's just the Max episodes are usually something to look forward to, and I've been wondering since day one if they'd get Zooey to do an ep, so this was disappointing that way.
Especially since previous Xmas eps had been really good.
Booth's "not the hair" seemed very Angel to me. Didn't they already kill "Santa" in a previous season?
the getting evidence off Booth scene was funny though.
And Boreanaz has still Got It, I tell you what.
I haven't seen near all the episodes of Bones, but I'd always imagined Brennan's personality was, well, unique, not genetic. And not that she'd be more normal than others in her family. That said, Zooey annoyed me less than other roles I've seen her in.
