Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aw, that was sweet. This show is like comfort food.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Have we heard anything about Castle's dad (other than that one comment tonight)? Because I don't remember anything, and I wonder if they are saving a story there.

Oh, and I read somewhere tonight that the guy who's playing the PI on House is the actor who played the guy that car-jacked David Fischer on Six Feet Under! Holy Shit! Totally missed that.

It does make me wonder what would happen if somebody ever car-jacked Dexter.

Holy shit, I didn't even recognize Blucas!!

I really liked tonight's ep. They did a good job developing the mystery, a relative rarity on this show, gave good face time to the regulars, and gave us a really interesting one-shot character in Blucas's Jay/Jeremy. And I loved that closing conversation between Castle and his mom.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You're right. Wrong Monday show. I hope he comes back to Lie To Me.

Castle's dad doesn't come up much because they don't know and don't seem to care who he is.

Castle totally gave Beckett an I'm-talking-about-you look when he was talking about Jeremy's relationship.

Yeah, that was the best "Castle" I've seen so far. Although I kind of hate Castle's mom, but maybe it's because she reminds me of my grandma who proudly told us(11 and 8) that she was dressed as a "lady of the evening" for her dancing class Halloween party. In real life a wannabe sexpot granny with no boundaries is not that much fun.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

huh, I was very Meh on the episode. Castle did not charm me as much as usual. Could be that it is suffereing b/c of all my Leverage watching.

I'm finding more and more Castle fans in my department after every new episode! My next-cubicle neighbor is a big fan, my boss's boss (a Joss fan as well) was mad that he missed the Halloween ep (his wife had forgotten to tape it) so I burned it off my dvr for him last night, and after talking about the ep when I gave him the dvd, another coworker came over and said that she couldn't help overhear the Castle discussion and wasn't last night a good ep.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Last night's Castle was honestly the first time I ever found Marc Blucas attractive, and I don't know what the difference was. Might have been the facial hair; I do like 'em a bit scruffy.

I thought it was good for him, too.
