We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Just a quick reminder that Castle is new tonight--I was thinking that they were in reruns through the end of the year.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

When did Natalie start dating Casper Van Dien?

Apparently he first appeared a few episodes back, and was mentioned even before that, but it wasn't anything that pinged my radar.

'Monk' finale sets cable ratings record

The Friday series finale of the USA Network dramedy drew about 9.4 million viewers, 3.2 million of them in the adults 18-49 demographic.

It is the largest audience and demo turnout to date, not only for the show and for a USA scripted series but also for a drama series on basic cable

Not that my he watched it, I'm sure, but even my dad knows who Monk is. And he doesn't get around the dial much. I can see casual viewers or people who'd drifted away wanting to see how it all wrapped up, but I wouldn't have guessed that big. But I also wouldn't have guessed that it had to beat The Closer.

Huh. Okay. It was kind of random, and I didn't really see much appealing about him. He was rather blah.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

raising hand with P-C. I haven't watched Monk since about Season 4 and I followed everything that went on in the finale.

NCIS questions:

Tony's woman (who he got involved with because she was the daughter of a drug dealer/arm's trader) left the scene and felt betrayed a few seasons back. Do you all think it likely she'll be back ever?

What happened to her father?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think Jeanne is long gone. Buy-bye.

Her father was killed by his handler at the CIA (or, at least, that's what Kort led the FBI to believe.) Shot in the head and fed to the fishes. The last scene between Jenny and Gibbs could lead one to conclude that Jenny was involved in that.

Her father was killed. I doubt she'll ever be back. She framed Tony for the murder. I don't think he'd have her back, even though he felt like guilty shit.
