Okay, having now seen Cold Case, that was indeed creepy.
Normally that sort of women in combat before their time storyline chokes me up, but this left me strangely unaffected.
Watching Castle--not only are they the grammar police, but they got the Death tarot card right. All this and Firefly too?
but they got the Death tarot card right.
I knew you'd appreciate that.

"Castle" is one of very few shows I'm consistently excited to watch. It's just plan fun, and last night was no exception.
Although, on the tarot card, I always feel the need to point out that while the Death card does indeed mean change, dying is about as big a change as you can get, so always best not to rule it out.
Favorite Castle exchange of the night [paraphrased]:
"I'm so accustomed to seeing you act like a twelve year-old, it's nice to see you as a concerned father."
"It makes you want me, right?"
"And there's the twelve year-old."

Mine too.

It's total fluff, but it's smart fluff.
And you got the impression that Castle really, really wanted to pound on the bad guy producer for a while. Throw a young woman in trouble into the mix, and watch Castle go Outraged Father. NF is lovely to watch when he's irate.
And damn, it was nice to see him in the brown coat again. I must have re-run that segment 8 times.
What show is that?
Whoops. Duh.

Ditto here. I wasn't sure if it was weak acting (I didn't believe any of them in the 40s, except maybe Edna) or the horrible hair, or what, but it didn't engage me. Music was fun, though. Although the B -plot with Daniel Baldwin was making me very tense. He plays a very believable arrogant, malicious d-bag.

So very much this.
NCIS:
"Conspiracy to be a bitch." It made me laugh.
It's interesting how so many tough, dangerous opponents on NCIS are women.
Next week looks like they're bringing Vance's Grenouille over from NCIS:LA. I don't like him having an obsessive enemy from his past. It's just so done on the show.
Hopefully Vance won't get as stupid as Jenny over it. Or go all Inigo Montoya.
