I LOVED that show. We would sit at work an bemoan how we aren't allowed to put any "personality" into our dispatches.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
but seriously, a SWAT team heading out on a burg call before patrol officers? No f'ing way.
Well, it does take place in the magical land of Canadia and was modeled after Toronto's Emergency Task Force. Not that I'm disagreeing with you on the no f'ing way.
good point, i never noticed what country it was supposed to be in. I guess in that magical land swat teams just cruise around listening to scanners and looking for ways to get into trouble. It's just hysterical because around here you need approval from a sgt in order to call out the big spendy resources (of course, getting approval from a sgt usually entails the primary ofcr on a big hot call saying "make the call" and a monitoring sgt immediately saying "ok", but approval does have to be given.)

Well, without all the guns and crime and stuff they've got a lot more time on their hands.
I am surprised to find that Warehouse 13 is growing on me. It's basically fluff and I only watch it because it comes on after Eureka, but am enjoying it nonetheless. Makes me think I'd watch a lot more tv if I had it on during the evening.
Burell, you're not alone. We show it love in Boxed Set.
Ha quester! I must have been tired yesterday because that's where I thought I posted that. Ah well, I'll get the hang of these kooky "thread" things one of these days!
Castle's newest can be ordered on Amazon. . . at least we KNOW that this is a fictional author.
Wow, is no one watching The Closer? My Tivo has been on/off the fritz (haha, get it? okay, never mind) so I missed all of last year and most of this year, but it's supposed to be catching whatever aired starting last Monday. Is it still good?
I think they're discussing The Closer in Cable Drama now. (Along with Burn Notice, Saving Grace, and Leverage.)
