As an owner of a pink trenchcoat, I say go out there and rock your authority and get the work done. Bringing your cat to work, now that's gonna make them think your attention is split.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
But Kitty is DYING. What is she to do?
(Imagining Fritz bringing Kitty to work at the FBI. Why don't we get to see THAT? Or Kitty on a stake-out. Really, they could do so much with that aspect of things.)
I've got an old episode of Cold Case on and somebody just talked about moving "upstate" - but they're in Philadelphia and I don't think I've ever heard rural PA called "upstate". Anyone else?
They could be referring to the Poconos as upstate, as that is north of Philly and pretty rural. But I'm from Western Pennsylvania, so I don't know how the easterners refer to their area.
I have never watched House except an odd episode here or ther, but am now TiVoing all episodes that come one. Via an episode guide, I have figured out that I am getting episodes from both this past season and season one. I've even been able to identify a few eps I caught before I started recording. I vaguely remember watching some eps with House getting a gift from a patient, possibly a young woman - drugs perhaps were involved. ring any bells?
Connie, my father's family is from SE PA and I don't recall them using that term either.
Maybe it's a central PA thing. (And therefore still wrong, wrong, wrong for Philly.)

New York City writers, we're on to you!
Well, that was a waste. Watched the pilot for Mental and aside from the appearance of having been filmed on videotape, was tired and unintelligent and badly lit (and not in a West Wing/Firefly dark lighting/embracing the shadows way).
I coulda been napping.
I have been watching Mental, mostly because I am out of tv shows, and I am really distracted that they costume Annabella Sciora, who is a rather high power administrative person is such cleavage baring outfits. I don't know any hospital administrators that do that!
Lisa Cuddy?
