and what a fucked up finale it was.
I was wondering if they knew when they filmed it that the series wasn't going to be picked up. Because that would have been a really lousy note to end the show on. Fortunately it was picked up by another network, so we'll see some resolution.
I am watching House over the summer as I do not catch it during the regular season. Last night was hostage taker guy who wanted a diagnosis. Is that close to the beginning of the season or am I already messed up for understanding things?
That's episode number 9 for the season, but I don't know that you've missed anything that will be important later.
But it is a very interesting episode.
I don't know. I thought that ending was sort of in the spirit of the ending of The Gift. It looked like they created a potential series finale and when they knew they were coming back added the "to be continued".
It was my least favorite Medium of the season. Though I liked the actor who ended up being
corrupt!guy
. I'm hoping that the network hopping either leads to a 'phew, that whole thing was a bad dream!' or a 'Whuh? What are you talking about, we never saw the episode of which you speak.'
The outcome felt like,
Brain tumor. Really? Stupid midichlorians.
If I were in charge of television, comas would be banned as a plot device. Also on the list: human-alien hybrids, magical pregnancies, undercover assignments in which characters who are attracted to each other play a married couple, promos that say "the team loses one of its own" when the victim turns out to be someone we've met once, hacking into computer systems by typing random keys really fast and people who don't wear seatbelts.
Me too, Dana.
Wierdly, Arcadia is the only episode of the XiFiles I have seen. And I have seen it several times, just flipping through channels.

Hee. In classic Buffista style, I read this as "commas would be banned" and was all, what? No! And then I finished my double take and was fine. Yes. Comas. Fine.
