Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I've been avoiding reading anything that might flat out state it as a given. Anything I've read has been implication only.

And going by the way the Bones writers hedged on their bets, I'm more than happy to stick my head in the sand and go "lalala, I can't hear you."

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I promise I don't know any of the NCIS writer, or what they're planning for the show. I was drawing from all the heavy-handed reactions of Ziva to Tony's relationship with his undercover mark (Jeanne?) and the dreadfully leaden and awkward banter between the two of them. But if you're concerned that I inadvertently led people to believe that a hookup is inevitable I can always delete my post.

brillig

And Ziva's continuing "Are you jealous?" riffs recently are particularly heavy handed. I'd be more willing to see Tony/Abby, though I think McGee/Abby should have a resurgence.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Did anyone else watch tonight's CSI? Does anyone else think that Hodges and Wendy are finally dating each other? They were getting seriously flirty while going over that burnt-out car.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I watched CSI:NY. Eddie Cahill was so not up to the task at hand. his grief was a total caricature.

Cheap-assed cliffhanger ending. I've been reasonably invested in this show all season, but really don't feel any tension about this shooting.

“Not dead yet!”

Cheap-assed cliffhanger ending.

Wrod. I've watched off and on and the episode a couple of weeks ago, with Ed Asner, was absolutely magnificent, but the last two of the season were weak. I didn't buy Craig T. Nelson as that kind of businessman, although it was clear they were modeling him after Trump to a certain degree, with the bluster and hard line.

I don't think so, but I think that he's gotten over his wierdness.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I didn't like yesterday's Bones - seeing the actors playing other characters was kind of fun, but it just seemed to go on too long.

Wednesday's CSI:NY was just bad ... that whole Greek smuggler storyline had run its course and it annoyed me no end. Thursday's CSI:NY ... just seemed kind of pointless.

bleah ... either they really were bad or I'm just getting fed up with TV

Melina Kanakaredes wrote the Wednesday ep. I thought it was a mess too.
