House: What a rip-off!

House: What a rip-off!
You mean that they didn't actually sleep together? I liked it. A lot. That House's drug-addled brain went to that length to convince himself he was over his addiction and hallucinations? Loved it.
Also, it makes the overnight detox not a serious fuckup on the part of the writers, but another symptom of House's issues/ego.

But the sex! Yes, the twists were brilliant, but I am pissed that the sex was a fake out.

I admit to liking this too. Sort of like a gift to fans who are actually paying attention.
Two more things about House:
Carl Reiner was brilliant, but did they ever figure out what was really wrong with the other patient?
Given that it's a House season finale: Was there another patient?
Considering how untrustworthy House's brain has gotten, maybe there wasn't another patient.
Edit: He looked so *sad* as he went into the hospital! And Wilson looked like he had to tell the vet to put down his puppy.
Wow. Not only was that an awesome episode that reconciles me to some of the plot holes in the previous episode (or what looked like plot holes), it also reconciles me to the directing of this episode, which I thought was unnecessarily gimmicky.
I know the episode-to-episode plots are sometimes shaky, but these motherfuckers can plan an arc.

I think the fact that we saw both patients in scenes without House means that they both existed.
I loved the scene where Cuddy took House to Wilson and how Wilson immediately twigged to "this is something very big". And House finally stripped bare.

Arhythmia and clots caused by chemicals in the deodorant. Which also caused the seizures, so he never needed the surgery to split his brain in half to begin with.

Yes.

This too.
