Isn't Life said to be just about cancelled?
Hush, you.
Do TV producers count on fans getting riled up these days? I'm sick about The Sarah Connor Chronicles and maybe Life maybe getting canceled, and I've written letters about them, but gee. Can't any of them tell quality when they see it? Those are good shows, executives!!
Okay, good grief, how long did that take? Here are all the procedural shows that have been discussed, not in any particular order:
Bones House Criminal Minds Medium Numb3rs The Mentalist Castle CSI Without a Trace Cold Case The Closer Monk Journeyman Castle Kville NCIS Law and Orders Criminal Intent Prison Break The Unit The Equalizer Burn Notice Saving Grace The Cleaner Canterbury's Law Leverage Lie to Me Flashpoint Homicide: LotS Life on Mars Eleventh Hour Burn Notice PBS Masterpicece Theater/Mystery Ghost Whisperer and a discussion of classic procedurals roughly between posts #1061 and 1124.
And one last post (yeah, still don't have a home computer): Anyone else excited to see that Amber HERE will be on House next week. Fun! Wonder what, if anything, he'll say to WilsonHERE
A lot of those shows are cancelled now, Java.
So, I don't think Harper's Island is a procedural. It is a weekly horror show (and I mean that literally - the show is also kind of bad, but very entertaining). There has yet to be an investigation, though there is an island sheriff who will likely start finding the bodies and may start working to find the killer.
sj, I was poking around fanfiction.net and found a community for McAbby shippers: [link]
I haven't read any of them, but there's over 90 stories there, so mabye you'll find some that you like.
You know what might be fun, it just occurred to me? Criminal Minds and NCIS crossover fanfic.
I contemplated this for 60 seconds and became afraid.
Hotch v. Gibbs? McGee v. Reid? And that's only the beginning...
there is an island sheriff
Played by Jim Beaver, Supernatural's own Bobby Singer! (The bride is played by Katie Cassidy, another Supernatural alumna.)
I STILL don't get why the cousin's head hasn't bobbed up in the harbor, or why no one found the 2 halves of Uncle Marty, or the minister hanging upside down... apparently all the wedding party and guests were wandering around the island during the scavenger hunt, but no bits of bodies were found? And how did whoever killed the deer manage to do so quickly and soundlessly? It has the normal slasher movie type of situation where the bad guy is omnicient and knows how to get to the hot spots at just the right time.
