Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Somehow I had my recording of Bones cutting a minute off the end of the show -- I thought it was Fox, not me! So what happened after she said she was jealous of everyone?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, apparently there's yet another new Bones on Monday. What are they doing?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

We interrupt this discussion of Bones for the following announcement:

In the course of discussing the current structure for television threads, it was suggested to modify the slugs (and sometimes headers) for TV bucket threads to more adequately represent what is discussed in each one. The idea behind this revision is to make it clearer when looking at the list of thread titles which shows are discussed where.

This (non-inclusive) listing would not be to restrict what can be discussed in a given thread, but rather to give an idea as to which 3-5 shows are likely to be dominant in that thread at that time. They would be updated every 4 months or so to reflect the changing network/cable seasons.

The decision as to which shows belong in the current slug will be based on bullshit consensus within each thread. When the call goes out (like now!), please discuss in-thread and then post any update or change in Bureaucracy so that the stompies can update the slug.

The proposed slug for Procedurals 1 is: Thread for discussion of procedural television shows, including, but not limited to, ?, ?, and ?. [NAFDA]
Please revise and fill in relevant titles for the upcoming months and post the update in Bureaucracy.

Currently, the header for Procedurals 1 is: This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
If this needs to be changed, please post an update in Bureaucracy.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Booth told her not to be and that someday she would find someone she could love. And then the booze came out.

If I remember correctly, they had to delay some episodes for some reason (I don't remember why) and now they have to burn them off somehow. So, we're getting those episodes on oddball days.

The reason Daisy got fired is because she does go to inappropriate levels of cutesy. But apparently Sweets and Daisy have a relationship bubbling over with passion, so it works for them.

I wonder if Angela joined Date/Hate because Hodgins was on it.

“Not dead yet!”

I wonder if Angela joined Date/Hate because Hodgins was on it.

I kind of felt both yes and no on that one. It was a little too Deus Ex, almost as if she wanted to see if he would pop up for her when they were within vicinity of each other, probably HOPING they would, yet still not willing to commit and go through with anything.

I was glad Hodgins went into the bar.

Hodgins knows he doesn't need the drama. Angela needs to grow up and either become more like Brennan in embracing the temporariness of relationships--though Brennan is questioning that these days--or get over her fear of committment.

I thought they dealt with Brennan's jealousy well. She wants to believe in true love etc., but she can't yet. She'd have to abandon what makes her her. I hope they don't go that way, because then it becomes a sitcom of "Watch Brennan be goofy as she tries to be normal."

“Not dead yet!”

I don't think they'll go that way, although I wouldn't be surprised if she tries certain things is small increments-- sort of test runs, because of course, being Brennan, she doesn't exactly understand that to be consumed by something like true love you have to actually abandon yourself to it. I get the impression that she thinks it sneaks up and takes one unawares.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Presidential addresses?

I'd suggest either non-fiction or one of the general threads.

For the previous administration I'd have suggested fanfic.
