Thing is, I believe it of Angela. She's always lived her life by "I think you're hot, let's do it and be free-spirited modern people without ties beyond the moment", and now she's forcing herself not to live by her old standards. Sort of like someone quitting smoking seeing every long skinny thing as a cigarette.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
One of my favorite moments of the ep was when Angela, Tempe, and Cam were sitting around and Hodgins walked up and asked, "Whoa... what'd I do?" when they all gave him the evil eye.
I like when they do the occasional girl-talk thing. And Bones was surprisingly insightful re: feelings. I'm not sure I like the show's focus moving off of Bones herself so much, but until they decide what to do about Bones and Booth emotionally, there's not a lot of room to maneuver. And the others have such potential.
DH was confused by that part of the show -- he didn't think it was 'real'. I corrected him. He knows perfectly well that the estrogen crowd -- even the happily married ones - feel the need to say 'men' on occasion.
House: huh. That's about what I've got for now. That was not what I was expecting.
Wow. Huh. I was not paying nearly enough attention to that show. May have to re-watch.
I can't believe they had Kutner kill himself. I mean, I know that's how it happens on occasion, but shit.
The choice of nudity on tonight's Saving Grace surprised me. But not unpleasantly.
The twist with Doug and Maggie really took me by surprise. I thought she was a sympathetic character.
continue to like Castle.
Oh, yes. Beckett's actually starting to grow on me. Fillion and the BBOC effect, I guess.
