Last night's The Mentalist! The awesomeness that is Kimball Cho! I nearly swallowed my tongue laughing when he strut into that bar with pimp-daddy shades and slick new wardrobe. And the way he consoled Katie at the end while remaining his inimitable self!
I know the show is all about Patrick and I love Simon Baker like whoa, but I think Cho might be my new favourite.
This show, man. It's not very good and the cases are often too stupid to be borne (remember the line, "he's been calibrated for evil!"?), but I find the characters really disarming.
Cho was the bomb, right? He has got GAME. He gave me the vapors through the tv.
I concur with the Cho-love.
How did it end? I missed it.
It was the sad-eyed manager who did it. (Arthur from Tick!) He was in love with Katie the waitress and was actually aiming for Fricke and... missed. Cho gave out the room number where the gang was actually camping out, watching him in action, then when the manager came to off Cho for making the move on Katie, they were all waiting for him.
Did you miss the last scene between Cho and Katie? That was the sweetest thing ever. He even smiled! Cho never smiles!
Tim Kang = HOTNESS.
No, *that* I caught. I love the switch to him in the new outfit.
What I'd like to know is what Cho said to the woman in the bar that drove her off ... and intrigued her friend.

I am a bit miffed that we were robbed of the "Patrick and Kimball go shopping for new clothes" montage.
The very last scene: Patrick is sitting alone at the bar, with a pensive expression, and two women come over to invite him over to their table. Patrick shows them his ring and says, "thank you, but I'm married." Then we end with the shot of Patrick fingering his wedding ring. (Poor Patrick.)

I'm thinking that Cho proposed a threesome.
PS: There's no business like Cho business!
Despite my extreme distaste over the rampant stereotyping of the 'witch' a couple of episodes back, I checked out this last episode on Surf and was rewarded with the Cho-ness. An absolute treat.
