Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

But why even set up the story so that the cast had to be in formal wear? It had no bearing on the episode. They might as well have been in Halloween costumes again.

Also, I would think someone as practical as Brennan would keep a change of clothes at the lab. She could have changed while the X-rays were being done on the dead body, or while they went out to collar the evil FBI agent, or whenever. I'm sure there could be a lag time of 2 or 3 minutes in between procedures and interviews.

Idiot. So we can all see Seely Booth in a tux. Have you no sense of priorities?

All right, maybe I was failing to see the bigger picture.

I also thought the shot, right after Brennan gets the call from the Gravedigger, where we're looking at her profile, her chin dipped down just so, with those completely killer earrings, was worth the price of admission.

(From a lover-of-nice-jewelry perspective, this show makes me very happy. Brennan and Angela always wear very interesting pieces.)

I'm sorry we're so shallow, Morgana, you actually make very valid points.

Speaking of Brennan's nice jewelry, does anyone remember the site where you can buy things they use on TV shows? my sister's interested in some of her jewelry (although now that she's laid off - and had to buy a new furnace - jewelry's kind of low on the priority list ... although I've offered to make things for her, she won't wear anything I make for her).

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That FBI agent couldn't have lugged Booth around, much less hoisted him into that sub thing

Maybe she's already got another apprentice? Isn't that her schtick?
