Lindsey: Why--why did you... Lorne: One last job. You're not part of the solution, Lindsey. You never will be. Lindsey: You kill me? A flunky?! I'm not just...Angel...kills me. You...Angel... Lorne: Good night, folks.

brillig

I found House's trick with Cuddy's desk amusing. He only plays practical jokes on the people he really likes, doesn't he? He's never advanced past the "pull their pigtails" stage.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Gina Torres is in tonight's episode of Bones.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yes. Yes she was. Sadly not much of a role. And DB didn't break out with a rousing chorus of "Jasmine".

“Not dead yet!”

And he was fab! I was giggling the entire time he was on.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm really not sure I like where this House/Cuddy thing is going. Though the "it seemed like a natural next step" (or whatever that line was) made me giggle, a lot.

Is there anyone on this show who doesn't have some major family drama? House: abusive father. Wilson: homeless brother. Cameron: dead husband. Chase: absent father, alcoholic mother. Foreman: mother with Alzheimers. 13: mother with Huntingtons. Kutner: dead parents. That just leaves Taub and Cuddy, I think.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I was going to post deep thoughts about The Mentalist, and then Simon Baker stands in the rain and sticks his tongue out, and now I shall simply retire to my bed with happy shallow thoughts.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Well, dang it! I missed Bones last week and now House because my TiVo was set to record only 10 episodes. Why can't it drop the first one recorded, which is bottom of the list when that happens? Gah. Reset them for 25 episodes, but now I've got to go digging around FOX for the online episodes.

You missed Bones?

I thought that it wasn't on.

Hulu - has the Fox stuff.

Oh, and they still had Simon Baker voing about scenes from the next episode but there weren't any scenes from the next episode, what is up with that?

Nathan Fillion's show Castle has a start date!

"Castle" on Monday, March 9 at 10:00 p.m.; "Cupid" on Tuesday, March 24 at 10:00 p.m.; and "The Unusuals" on Wednesday, April 8 at 10:00 p.m. In addition, ABC News' "Primetime: What Would You Do?" will return on Tuesday, January 6 at 10:00 p.m. (all times ET).

It looks like the Unusuals is also a procedural (or at least a mystery) and stars Amber Tamblyn as a dectective:

In "The Unusuals," it helps if a cop has a twisted sense of humor, because every moment could be your last. Just ask Casey Shraeger (Amber Tamblyn, "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"), who started her day as an NYPD vice detective before unexpectedly being transferred to the homicide division. She quickly realizes that, not only does everyone in her new department have a distinct sense of humor, but also their own dirty little secrets.

From an ABC press release.
