I'd like to say the assistant de jour was over the top, but I've known people like her, unfortunately.

I hope that it doesn't turn into a Murphy Brown secretary situation.

Hubby: "Is this their way of making it reasonable to have the murderous apprentice of a psychotic cannibal return to the team?"

I'm very curious if/how they can work Zach into anything. And bring back Max Keenan!

Compassionately intolerant

I love Jonathan Creek, so much so that I ahemed it...my very first time (of two) that I've ever done so. My love is that pure.

Sadly, I lost it by not pulling it off a computer that is now a paperweight.

Ill gotten gains...whatcha gonna do?

“Not dead yet!”

Re: Bones, two major things occurred to me. One, Booth and Bones were acting like themselves again, even down to Booth's not caring whether he interrupted her date or not, until we got to the earnest "UR so speshul" portion of the program.

They need to stop.

Right now.

And the overall chemistry and behavior of the characters was back, except, um, hello?? continuity, people? Last week's episode might not ever have happened, for all the attention the writers paid to the events that occurred. I loved that Cam and Angela were back to their usual camaraderie and exchanges, but... nothing? No reference to Angela and Hodgins? Not even an uncomfortable glance shared between them? It just felt very disconnected.

oh, but I think that he did. I think that he got a kick out of it.

Booth cared a whole lot about interrupted. Sweets was uncomfortable, until he got distracted by his post-adolscent enthusiasm.

I feel like the premiere fell into "Tie off some loose ends, pay lip service to last season, do something cool because the network finally likes us enough to spend some money on us" land. I figure we'll see where the season is going in the next couple of eps

Okay, true. But it still harkened back to his earlier behavior with her, wouldn't you think?

I think that Boots wanted to throw salt in her game not because he was jealous, but because he thought that dating two guys was wrong. He also wanted to tease her about the botanist, I think, and the information gave him an excuse.

Is anyone else annoyed by the fact that they keep pairing Brennan with men who are similar to Booth? The deep sea diver was totally the same physical type. (mmmm) Maybe it's just that I notice because Booth gives me The Feelings, as does just about everyone else that Brennan dates (except the botanist. Coldplay?)
