Dang, I missed the Bones premiere, but it sounds dreadful, so I'm not sorry on that account. Still, breaking up Angela and Hodges? Tilt!! No!!

What is wrong with TV writers that they can't write actual relationships, only tension and relationships that might happen? It's pretty consistent.

The "Three Stories" House

That is one of the finest hours of TV ever, yes yes. The 2-part House finale was the same format, actually: piecing together what happened in flashbacks cross cutting with analysis in the present. Good stuff.

Some of the Dexter eps are extraordinary. Whitefont for those who haven't seen it, because this a show that's best unspoiled, IMHO, starting with the one where he has an epiphany about addiction after attending an AA meeting, and the next 1 or 2 where he actually lets his guard down and trusts the English chick are amazing. Oh, and the one where he lets down and trusts the shrink as well. There's a fic from Yuletide about Dexter seeing a shrink that's a knock out, just stunning, but I digress.

Have they ever said on House when House and Wilson met? I can't remember if Wilson was around when House was hooked up with Obnoxious Female Lawyer Person or not.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I love the Bones episode that happens just before Christmas, I don't remember if it's the first or second season, when they all get locked into the lab because Hodgins and Zak (Zach? I'm never sure of the spelling) accidentally let loose some sort of airborne contaminent. Families come to visit from the other side of the glass door, and they talk about their holiday celebrations, and make gifts for one another, and other than the ear-piercingly AWFUL rendition of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" played over and over, I just adore that episode. The title has something to do with 'Bomb Shelter.' The One With the Bomb Shelter?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

That's my favorite episode, too, Morgana! I also love the other Xmas one with her dad in prison, but her brother brings the tree just outside the prison so Max & Tempe can see it.

I, as a rule, hate xmas episodes...unless they are done well or against type.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That's the first season, Morgana.

quester, that was Booth and his boy that brought the tree to the prison and hooked it up to the engine to light it up. Wasn't the brother inside with Brennan and Max? (Actually, was the brother an inmate himself at that point?)

Edit: thanks, aurelia. I couldn't remember which season that episode belonged to, but I knew it was early. Angela being impatient with all of them and tapping her foot in that elf shoe makes me laugh every time.

yes, Morgan, you're right! I forgot it was Booth and Parker, because the Russ and Max were both inside.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

yes! that first Christmas episode was such a hoot!

And in the last episode of last season, with all the people from the lab lined up against the glass looking at Zach, it recalled when his entire family came to visit and had to wave at him from outside the glass. sniff ... I really miss Zach.
