I saw somebody saying, "Oh, they wanted to get rid of the actor because he's openly gay."
I doubt that. I didn't get that vibe at all from Eric (I mean, the whole 2 hours we were around each other :) ) I bet that most people didn't even know.

BN: That was so good. And it had Joan Girardi's principal! But conning the cons is always fun to watch.
Yay!! re Zach!
I'm not sure what the protocal is about mentioning fic writer's name but the writer F_ _ _ ka wrote a brilliant thing years ago from the POV of Bones and it really was about her kind of having Asperger's, if I am recalling correctly and not mangling it all. Anyway, Bones still has aspects of that but has moved away from it. Zach is so much more like that than Bones is, the POV piece made me understand him more and really care about him.
eta: Which is to say, count me in on backlash against the Gormagon-Zach thing.
I'm actually OK with Zack being the Apprentice, because you can look at why he thought it was a good idea and it can address things that happened to him in Iraq. It gives something for Zack to do other than be adorable and geeky.

yeah, the con thing makes me miss Hustle *sniff*
I just saw a commercial for an American version of The Eleventh Hour with Marc Blucas. I'd rather have more episodes of the British version with Patrick Stewart.
amen. Plus, I think that they're going to just redo the first several episodes.
Marc Blucas is in it? I didn't realize that. Because isn't that the upcoming show with Rufus Sewell? I see those eyes and my brain cells tend to short out.
Yes, it's the Rufus Sewell show.
I saw a teaser for Life on Mars during something.. . the horse race on Saturday. (Apparently, I'm not currrently watching ABC.) Because they've changed locations and entirely recast the show other than the lead, it really only shows the moment when Sam gets sent into the past. Which I spoilerfonted for non LoM - Brit speed watchers.
Anyone watch the Closer last night? If so, did you think that she was really scared/intimidated when she was talking to the dad in the final scenes, or was she putting on an act to disarm them?
