I like it! It's basically what you'd expect from a Nathan Fillion cop show on ABC, so better than NCIS but not as good as Homicide?

Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Whoa. I guess that is all one spectrum. Mind blown.
It took me a while to come up with the good end!
I somehow totally missed that Elementary had started up again, then noticed there was a new episode in my recorded tv! Yay for smart systems that record stuff for me.
Didn't know where they were going to go from the end of last season, and at the end of this episode still not sure!
First, Joan as a blonde! Well, it wouldn't be my choice, but it goes along with the notion of her unhappy life in London. Second, Kitty! Always a delight to see her and no matter the direction it takes I hope she stays involved. Third, Captain! Oh my, not cool.
The case of the week was well done and adequately twisty and turny. Near the end of the episode DH mentioned to me that I hadn't declared the culprit yet, and I realized I hadn't been trying to figure it out because there were so many other things to focus on. But not sure I would have figured it out even if I had been trying. Also, ouch. Acid not a fun thing at all.
Completely unspoiled speculation is that they are not going back to NY. I rather like the notion of the whole season staying on Baker Street so that may be skewing my speculation.
Also I like DCI Jones being a thorn in Joan's side.
So, now that I have projected that they stay in London we shall probably see them back in NY next time with some resolution to Sherlock's legal issues.
Joan as a blonde!
The AVClub referred to it as her I Thought My Contract Was Up hair.
Man, I missed the whole last season of Elementary, mostly because there's only so much time to watch everything I want to watch. Maybe I can catch up on Hulu this summer.

Ha!
I love me some Joan Watson/Lucy Liu, but the blond hair is not working for me. I don't know if it's just that I don't like change, or that Asian people with blond hair is jarring to me.
I couldn't stop noticing Watson's neck was a color completely different from her face and chest. I don't think make up is supposed to look like that?
Has anyone watched Stumptown?
