I've been meaning to watch that Maigret. He can be interestingly intense. It's on Netflix or BritBox or Acorn, one of my sources of Brit tv.

Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
I recently watched Maigret and was sorta stunned by Atkinson. It is a very reserved performance, so much so that I found him kind of dull, which isn't what I was expecting at all. All the energy comes from everyone else, and just swirls around him. OTOH, Madame Maigret is awesome.
Woo to the hoo!
As I said elsewhere, I didn't know I wanted this but now I'm excited to have it coming my way!
I'm only there if Logan was lost at sea in the interim.
Ha! I am also not a big fan of Logan, but I'm willing to put up with him if it means more of the rest of the characters that I love (which is basically every other character) (assuming they don't bring Duncan back).
I didn't watch the fan-funded movie because I was told there was a large amount of Logan/Veronica in it. Same condition applies to the proposed revival.
I am sorry I love Logan. But I think I love him more in the tie in novels than the show. I really love the tie-in novels and would seriously read 100 of them
I'm Logan-indifferent. Just give me snappy dialog and Veronica being clever and fierce and I'm happy. I generally used the romance subplots as opportunities to check my email.
I have a deep fondness for Logan. Fics make me love him.
