This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

I liked that the receptionist was the villain. They really do know everything that goes on in an organization, and you should never get on their bad side.
I also kind of liked that Mary, who one would think wouldn't idealize much, could have such an idealistic mental image of John. Meanwhile, John's flirting with other women. Which I didn't like as a general concept, but as something to clearly undercut Mary's idealization of him, I think it worked. And it's just as well that Mary died, because if she lived and found out about Ms. Flirtyface, odds are John would be the one under a gravestone .
I said out loud, "John, don't flirt with other women, ffs, your wife is an assassin. You'll both be dead if she catches you."
sad now.
I said, "Dude, your wife is a super secret agent - you think she won't figure out what you are up to?"
This Watson really is an adrenaline junky.
The story in Sherlock is compelling, but for sheer character love, I'm with Elementary all the way.
And isn't about time we had another RDJ Sherlock Holmes movie?
Finally watched Sherlock and I was...underwhelmed. Felt like a lot of treading water (like when Mary traveled the earth for 10 minutes and whadda ya know, Sherlock found her and they all went home.) I wasn't even all that bummed when Mary was killed. Is it just me, or do y'all think she was killed off because the actors are divorcing? Hoping they get into the Moriarty storyline next ep and that it is more engaging - and I don't really love Moriarty. My Cumbercrush will keep me tuning in though! He never disappoints.

That reminded me a lot of the old Monty Python sketch about the Hide & Seek World Championships.
I am less and less into Sherlock as time goes on. I like the characters quite a bit (although the Watson flirtation thing just irritated me) but the plots have been...not to my taste for a couple-three seasons. And I don't like Sherlock telling me intuition should not be dismissed.
Meh.
I love the characters but many of the stories, or elements thereof, have not been much to my liking. I strongly dislike BBC's Moriarty, and I hated what they did with Irene. I did love the Victorian throwback dream episode, though. And I love Mary a lot, I'm afraid they killed her off to have a reason for tension between S/J and that sucks like a chupacabra.

Not sufficient wrods in the world to agree with that.
