This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

I found the finale far more satisfying than I expected to.
Worked for me.
Also a number of episodes prior to the finale managed to satisfyingly get their froth on.
And talking of froth - Catch remains fun, though the latest (2nd to last) episode was not one of the best. Not anything like as clever as Castle at its bests - but fast paced and fun. AS much a caper series as procedural - a battle between two bad planners. Insanely stupid (but entertainingly devious) plans thwarted by insanely stupid (but entertainingly devious) counter plans. Remember Mad Magazine's Spy Vs. Spy? This is PI vs. Con Man. Except they are in luurve. Both intentionally and unintentionally entertaining.
I have been kind of meaning to watch that when I have time. I like the cast.
I like it, but it's shocking moments aren't up to the level I expect from my Shondaland shows.
Well no. This is really light. It is the foam on the latte, the head on the beer. Pure froth. Angst-free.
Yeah, it's cute. And I like that the couple is age-appropriate!
A light touch over the long run is really tough to keep up. I don't know if they have sufficient basis. My approach: enjoy it as long as it is fun. When it stops being fun, thank them for the good times and walk away, no hard feelings. Which I expect to happen eventually, but not yet.
