Handsome brooding vampire guy has to swoop in all sensitive mouth and overhanging forehead. How 'bout leaving some scraps for the homely-looking fellows who don't turn evil when they get some?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yeah, the Eddie Izzard scenes expand on what we saw last year. Unclear how long he kept him alive, right? I wonder whether we'll get more of those. I do enjoy them.

I think Bryan Fuller is going to take any opportunity he can to use Eddie Izzard, as it should be.

Yes! I was thinking we'd find out she was with him under duress, but no. Though, certainly conflicted.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he had her at least slightly sedated, and I think that market she keeps visiting is going to become relevant.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, there is the way she was deliberately showing herself on the security cameras that suggest she is looking for help if some kind.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I did think, "This is not the threesome you're looking for," during the dinner scene.

Hannibal did seem amused by the question though.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Not that kind of party.

I loved the premier. I don't know how they managed to up the ante on the art direction, but they DID.

Do you think Bedelia will start sneaking garlic on the side, just to mess with her flavor?

Hannibal: Fuller really is pure evil. They hinted last night that the others are all dead, but I don't really believe it until we actually see something back at the FBI.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Holy shit, SHOW. How many times can the same person's death come as a complete and shattering surprise?

I wasn't surprised by it. I noticed early she wasn't interacting with anyone else, and the feeling of this season is so trippy and surreal that I'm not really trusting anything that is being shown. Is it wrong that this season is making me want to go to Italy?
