Eh, I'm an anglophile and a lawyer, I'm picky about the details :)
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Sometimes law enforcement tries to convince everyone that someone else flipped, although not usually on such sophisticated criminals--honestly, I'm not sure about Justified now.
Completely random thought re: Sherlock BBC:
The reason he doesn't eat on cases is because having to poop would take time away from investigating and chasing criminals. What a drag to have to find a loo in the midst of pursuit.
Also, is anyone else excited about the Christmas special where they go period piece? I know I am (yes, I do wish for another RDJ/JL movie, god help me).
Yeah, I'm looking forward to the Christmas special. Also I'd love a new RDJ/JL movie. Just kiss already, boys.
Especially since it would have to be a "Oh, BTW, not dead, old chap." thing. Though I do like Mary too much to lose her.
Oh no, Mrs. Watson just needs to learn to share, is all.

I wonder how soldiers handle this during extended battles?

Speaking only for myself, I'm pretty sure the situation would resolve itself within the first minute or so of combat.
Speaking for myself, I know that high stress situations can lead to constipation. In basic training, at least in the beginning, all of us gals had our bodies go haywire: no periods, no pooping, for what seemed like weeks/months (not respectively).
Rewatching the BBC Sherlock, and I really really adore their Mary. I love her and her relationship with john to bits.
Also, I've been told (though it may be a myth - no military expert) that combat rations are specifically designed to be constipating.
Oh and probably unrelated: Does anyone but me think Castle is dropping anvil-heavy hints that Beckett is going to end up running for Senate the way the probably-real time traveler predicted? Not so much in the last ep (though the stage fright gives her a personal issue to overcome). But previous two - both"once you reached a peak, find a new mountain to climb" and the other one (this is a paraphrase cause I can't remember the actual wording) "ain't it a shame so many politicians are complete dicks?"
