"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Was watching Hawaii 5-0 tonight. There was a scene where a bad guy is out in a park with a bunch of civilians around. The team pull guns and yell at the baddie to get on the ground. The civilians just got on the ground "I thought 'people in Hawaii are sensible. When you see a bunch of people with guns, don't start running screaming, just get on the ground and cover your head!"

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I dunno what show this dream came from. You see, I woke up after fending off with a very thick feather pillow a number of thrown knives and before the murderer's too-big-to-throw knife went through the pillow. So, could be that Reese was gonna get there just in time, or it could be that Holmes was gonna bring the guy to justice after it was too late. Big Clue: the motive was objecting to me calling the police to report a car accident in the parking lot of an Anytime Fitness.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Somehow, I don't think Anytime Fitness would pay for that product placement. But maybe I'm wrong.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

That would be a exciting new workout.

What I hadn't figured out is, if there was some kind of insurance fraud going on in that parking lot, or if it was just a bunch of guys with 'roid rage and SUVs bullying people with little cars. Either way, that would hardly be the most intriguing case for Elementary. Does sound more like POI, maybe. So maybe I would have survived bringing a pillow to a knife fight.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So this guy watched episodes of The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, and Stalker simultaneously

That's amazing.

This made me laugh.

One thing to note: Watching all three at once, it’s completely impossible to figure out which generic police procedural music is coming from which police procedural. I haven’t the slightest clue.

Anyone else think we'll see a Beckett double next week?

JenP - Feb 10, 2015 7:26:38 am PST #11108 of 11831

Yes. I will say, I was tired, but I didn't really figure shit out the endgame (well, middle game, really) until pretty close to the reveal. I mean, I knew Beckett going to meet Amy wasn't going to end well, but I didn't call it. I'm impressed I remembered her name was Amy! Though, I guess names were pretty key to the plot... whose belonged to whom.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Tomorrow on Elementary - if you don't blink - you will in all likelihood see me in the reptile house giving an Emmy-worthy performance of a person not noticing JLM walking directly behind and/or in front of her.
