Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Is anybody else still watching Bones, or is it just me? Anyway, I know their writing can be...uneven on their best days, but last night's treatment of Wendell was so bad I was shouting at my TV. The girl was acting needy on the verge of stalkery and they blame Wendell's cancer (and fear of getting too close) for why he's holding her at arm's length? How about fear for the life of his bunny? I'm notorious for missing subtle hints, but even I felt she was being psycho, not concerned! Anyway, annoying, and crap writing.

And, and, and after making a big deal about how awesome the cat was and being concerned for what would happen to it, it seems like they forgot to fire it in Act III, if you'll excuse the mixed metaphor - unless they did do something with it but it was when I was still in my low-key rage blackout on Wendell's behalf?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

He was Mr. Trick on BTVS. That voice!

Oh, thank you! I knew he was someone. Then I managed to remember who Mamie Gummer was and forgot to look him up.

Just you, I think.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is anybody else still watching Bones, or is it just me?

I gave it up 2 seasons ago, but I occasionally read the recaps to see if there is anything interesting happening.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

He was Mr. Trick on BTVS. That voice!

K. Todd Freeman! I've done a few shows with him.

Just you, I think.

This is certainly my interpretation of the available data.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Caught up on Castle. I can see two possible intents.

1) They make Castle permanently a private eye who ends working on a lot of the same cases as Beckett. Provides a new source of tension between Castle and Beckett, and between Castle and the team. The intent would be give new life to the show, though I can see many ways it could go horribly wrong

2) Castle is a PI for one to n episodes, during which he makes life so miserable for the powers that be that they let him back onto the team because he makes it clear that they are better off having on the inside pissing out than on the outside pissing in.

My bet is option 2, but I'm not good at reading showrunner and network exc minds.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I am hoping that his exile from the NYPD will lead to some investigation of/resolution to the wedding disappearance stuff.

I'm really annoyed that we reached the fall finale without any more information about that.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yeah, at this point, it looks a little like, "We wanted a dramatic cliffhanger in the spring, but we're bored with it now/it wasn't working like we hoped."
