Watched an ep as workout and yes, it is a real show. Well, surreal. Actress has no charisma. The leads have no chemistry. Don't know whether they can act, because nobody could deliver the lines in that script convincingly. You hear about people who could read the telephone book and make you feel strong emotions. The writing in BT is nowhere near as stirring or poetic as a telephone book.
Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.
This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]
Ugh, my mother made me watch Scorpion last night, and I was angry starting with the title. t /Scorpion makes literally no sense!
I caught a tiny bit of it in between recorded shows (Miss Marple, hooray!) and what I saw did not make me want to watch it. I didn't even realize the title was all pseudo-techified like that.
Scorpion looks a little like numbers and a little like Dork!Leverage. I have seen the actress from Taxi Brooklyn in other stuff and she was okay, but I don't know if it's the dumb premise or she can't play a detective or both, but, yikes.
So Forever's worth a watch? I was reminded of Capt. Jack, except every time he revivifies, he's naked and in water.
Which, OMG, that would be a thing of beauty forever!
The superlatives in the ads for Forever are a bit much, but I'm enjoying the show.
The premise of Forever reminds me of that immortal detective show Jaime Lannister was in before GoT.
New Amsterdam, yes, -t, I had that thought, too.
Yeah, that's the one.
Is HtGAWM gonna be discussed here?
