Hannibal: This is one of the trippiest episodes yet, but the lighting is driving me nuts -- I can't *see* some of it well enough.
And every once in a while, Mads Mikkelson's accent is tough to parse, especially if he's speaking softly or quickly.

What the hell just happened?!
Damned if I know. That was the absolute most off-kilter episode of Hannibal ever (which I'm pretty sure I say every single week, but this time I really mean it (which I also say every single week)). If that denoument was not a giant fake-out, I may be broken. It was a fake-out, wasn't it? Will didn't do what he surely seems to have done, did he?
That's what I'm saying! I keep thinking it has to be a fakeout, and he's trying to trap Hannibal into admitting something or ... I don't know! But if that was so, why show him chasing Freddie and breaking her car window and all? Why wouldn't he have said, I need you to help me, here's what we'll do?
Also, why was there a jaw in the freezer?!
I thought the surreal group sex thing was confusing enough, but the end broke me.
Or the chaos plan that would lead to the end of the world by killing one child?
Castle did this one too.
Hannibal has long since passed into "too obtuse for its own good" territory for me.
So I watched this week's CSI. It seemed like a backdoor pilot for another show. It was terrible, but what's worse? It was okay in comparison to some other episodes of CSI this season. CSI has been terrible this season.
I like Patricia Arquette and she was great in Medium (until the final season), but I will not watch this new show if it does show up this Fall. I am the target audience and I didn't like it.
We talked about it a bit in Natter, where I thought it was the worst thing I've seen in ages. And yes, it's a backdoor pilot.
Dana,
LOL. for some reason, I disliked the Supernatural backdoor pilot more than the CSI ep. But it is true, the CSI ep was really bad. And half of it was nonsense.
That was awful with a side of awful. I like Patricia Arquette, but she was playing it like she knew it was nonsense.
