Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Jerry Orbach and Jesse Martin are my L&O One True Partnership.

only because they used to sing on set. I loved me some Chris Noth and Paul Sorvino.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Jerry Orbach- Chris Noth

I'm with erika on this one. Oh, and the OTP for the DA side is McCoy and Kincaid, although I have great and abiding love for Richard Brooks as Paul Robinette.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I still miss Ben Stone, though I have to block out knowledge of the whackaloon the actor's turned out to be.

Good grief, you guys are good. I had to go look up the cast. [link] I've been a hit and miss watcher.

the whackaloon the actor's turned out to be.
Michael Moriarty. I remember him from Hill Street Blues!

How Old Are You?

What was the first procedural you really followed?

Mannix is the first thing that comes to mind for me. 67-75 The Man from UNCLE was mostly a reason to squee over the guys with my girlfriends. 64-68 Also, Get Smart 65-69, but that was a comedy.

If we define this to include basic cop show, then I'd have to say Baretta and Starskey & Hutch.

edit: Mannix! I remember Mannix, with Carol his secretary! I've also spent many a fond hour with Hawaii 5-0. I loved Lo Fat.

Baretta, Starskey & Hutch, Simon and Simon, Magnum, PI, Scarecow and Mrs King

I'd heard of these but not watched them

OMG, YES, Remington Steele. LOVED that show. [link]

That's another show where the female lead nearly disappeared afterwards while the male lead went on to fame and fortune in movies. Moonlighting is the other, though CShepard didn't exactly disappear.
