What you did to me was unbelievable, Connor. But then I got stuck in a hell dimension by my girlfriend one time for a hundred years, so three months under the ocean actually gave me perspective. Kind of a M.C. Escher perspective, but I did get time to think.

Procedurals 1: Anything You Say Can and Will Be Used Against You.

This thread is for procedural TV, shows where the primary idea is to figure out the case. [NAFDA]

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Yup, and it says so in the thread. The blame for that omission is mine, not the commentators on Making Light. Really it is a great comment thread. If you have seen the current season of Sherlock already, or don't avoid spoilers, it is well worth reading. If you are avoiding spoilers, the post itself is good for a chuckle.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I have read the comments, and holy crap! Benedict Cumberbatch's mother was the Fendahl!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Is anyone still watching Castle? It just seems so formulaic these days.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am. And I would agree with you, it is formulaic lately, but within my personal tolerances.

brillig

I stopped watching it when the old captain went sort of bad and it became all about the mystery of Beckett's Mom.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I bailed on Castle this season.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm still watching, but procedurals are my TV version of comfort food. I miss Alexis since she hasn't been around as much.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It's become one of those shows that I watch when I have nothing better to do, and there's lots of new stuff on these days.

It's up against "Intelligence", which seems to be "Chuck" with a competent soldier having the intersect.

I am ambivalent about Intelligence. I like the cast, but the ads leave me cold. Let me know if it's really good and I'll catch up.

I'm also passing on this season of The Following. I liked the first season, but they're doing the season premiere tonight and I just can't make that work.

Castle is not one of the shows I am anxious to see after it's recorded anymore, but it's not opposite anything for me so the DVR will keep catching it. It's not to the point where I'll only watch it while I'm doing laundry, like CSI.

I main lined The Following's first season a couple months back and thought it was just ok. However, I'm tempted to watch the beginning of this season to see if it improves at all.
