Just finished Castle.
Wouldn't you send the closest law enforcement possible to Secretary Reed, his wife (his kids, his mistress, his dog...) as soon as you found out there was a threat on his life? It's all well and good that people aren't picking up their phones but, c'mon...
And not to be callous, but isn't part of being an undercover agent working as a terrorist housekeeper
knowing
that you could get killed in an airstrike? And would that be a cover-up situation?
My recording quit just before the end of Castle. Did anything interesting happen in the last two minutes?
And I totally agree about preferring the lighter, wackier stories.
Next week looks pretty wacky.

Castle woke up in the hospital, surrounded by his fiancee, mother, daughter, and daughter's boyfriend. He quoted the Wizard of Oz "I had a dream, and you were there, and you were there, and you were there..." Daughter's boyfriend said he had done "healing Reiki on him and it must have worked".
In case you didn't believe that Ironside could be as bad as the reviews: Believe. Don't say I never did anything for you.
There was a [legal] free preview available. I gave about 12 minutes of my life to it before I gave up in disgust. Listen to Ginger.
Thanks, WindSparrow! Sounds like I didn't miss anything after all.

Ginger, I trust your judgment. I really wanted to see the show too. Bah.
We watched the pilot. Very typical "He doesn't play by the rules!" show.
I likeBlair Underwood enough to give it a couple of eps.
