Right, but we did get a decent amount of exposition about the history of characters which was good. Not to mention it was pretty funny regardless. The teasers seem to have plenty Venture-ness so I'd assume we have plenty to come.
I joined this thread just so I could talk about VB. This is where it seemed like it was happening.
I love the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend so I was keen to get their backstory. And we even got to see Dr. Girlfriend with her hair "like that girl in Republica" that the Monarch had noted before.
I need to watch again, though, because Matilda was a crazy squirmy fuss monkey when I watched it and I missed stuff.
I thought it was a bit light on the brothers Venture.
They weren't even in it, were they?
I liked it a lot, although it was less funny than backstory-ific.
Plus "Einar's lawyers were ready to sign, but Bjork's wouldn't budge!"

Did anyone notice in VB 3.1 the monarch didn't have that Red Dragon tattoo on his back.
It washed off in the shower while the hooker was escaping through the lake of acid.
I wish I had season 2 on DVD.... For shame, Victor, for shame.
VB: Again, heavier on plot than the funny. But funnier than last week.

I used to have that comic. Sold it years ago.
