Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I'm so traumatized by Betty and Henry not getting together, that I can't even be properly upset about Santos.

Seriously!! The tragedy! And do you think the baby is really Henry's or the dentist's? All I know is, Henry better show up again before long!

Oh! And Amanda being Fay's daughter!!!! How much you wanna bet that her father is Old Man Meade (who I can only think of as Caleb from The O.C.)?

Now *that* was a real shock! I bet you're right about Bradford Meade being her dad. I love Amanda, so I'd be happy if she got an expanded storyline this season. I felt so sorry for her when that fauxmo designer jerk treated her so callously, but I'm glad she had Marc there for her. He's one of my very favorite characters on the show.

And Wilhemina trading back her wedding date so she could get Marc back from Gina Gershon (who just *rocks* the hell out of her role)!!!

Ha, yeah, I love Gina Gershon as Fabia. Those lips! And I'm so glad Wilhelmina got Marc back. I mean, you knew it had to happen, but it was just really satisfying.

I am totally digging this show!

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

The baby has GOT to be the dentist's! Otherwise Henry won't come back, because he was all, "I grew up without a dad, so I gotta be there for my kid." And Henry HAS TO COME BACK!!! The scene in the copy room was, like, the sweetest thing I have EVER seen.

I felt so sorry for her when that fauxmo designer jerk treated her so callously, but I'm glad she had Marc there for her. He's one of my very favorite characters on the show.

The episode where Marc came out to his bitch of a mom made me just cry and cry. I kept yelling at the TV, "Do it, Marc! Tell her! TELL HER!!!"

Ha, yeah, I love Gina Gershon as Fabia. Those lips!

"I was hoping you'd come to my wedding, so you could be my 'something old'."

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

A quick aside on Bell's Palsy--Jamey Sheridan (the first Lt. on L&O:CI as well as Randall Flagg in The Stand) also has it, and that's why he was wearing an eyepatch during some episodes of L&O:CI (they gave the disease to his character as well).

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

The scene in the copy room was, like, the sweetest thing I have EVER seen.

Hee! Yep. Ugly Betty is sometimes a bit OTT for me, but when it works, it works great.

A friend of mine back home has it. It kinda drags one side of her face down. Sometimes it's better than others.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Huh. I didn't realize that Alexis was in the video for George Harrison's "I Got My Mind Set On You".

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

The episode where Marc came out to his bitch of a mom made me just cry and cry.

Oh yeah, that scene was wrenching. (Although as a friend commented, "I highly doubt Patti LuPone has a hard time recognizing a gay man when she sees one.")

"I was hoping you'd come to my wedding, so you could be my 'something old'."

Ha! That was fantastic.

Ugly Betty is sometimes a bit OTT for me, but when it works, it works great.

Totally. And I even love the OTT-ness, because to me that makes it truer to its telenovela roots. Also, I've realized, the show really appeals to my inner (or not-so-inner) fag hag, and so the OTT-ness works in that context too.
