On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

The final moments? That look on Barney's face? Totally heart-melty

Oh, my, yes. And I wasn't expecting it.

I, too, hope Stella gives him a, "Yeah... no." But I do like them together.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

From SNL: Ricky Gervais presents the Japanese version of The Office.

Translation.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I just finished season 1 of HIMYM. I laughed, I cried. I so did not expect to see Marshall sitting on the steps at the end. Then I saw Alexis Denisof's name in the credits and had to go back and watch again because I had not spotted him. I caught Amy Acker right away from her voice and her forearms but AD's fake-n-bake and his newsreader accent completely threw me. I knew that I knew the actor, but I had assumed he was a game show host!

Season two is on the way. I have no idea what to expect. What a difference watching every episode in order has made with my appreciation of this show.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Does Venture Brothers go here? There's an interview with Jackson Publick on the AV Club site today. I, for one, can barely contain my excitement about the Season 3 premiere on Sunday.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Good a place as any. Plus, I didn't know the season was starting this week, so yay!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I forgot to tell Emmett that the new Ventures season is upon us. He'll be psyched! It's been a spring full of goodies for him with post-strike eps of HIMYM, downloaded Avatar and now a new season of Venture Brothers. We had a long stretch of new shows! The only thing he's missing now is Pushing Daisies.
