That is so confusing! I guess it's not that surprising, though. I mean, Dan and Levy are both pretty common.

Had a couple of friends over for Dinner & Screen (sometimes referred to as Dinner & a Movie, 'cept we didn't get to the movie this time) and we used their Netflix account to watch Hannah Gadsby's special Nanette and the follow up, Douglas. I was worried that maybe I'm just a crazy Hannah-worshipper and they wouldn't get the love, but no! They loved her too! (I was literally concerned by how hard my one friend was laughing in a couple places, I went and got her some water, just in case).
So, billytea, yes, find someone to borrow a Netflix pswd from, or pay for a single month, or something, but yes, definitely see Nanette, SO GOOD!
I saw an 18 minute YouTube video of them that was probably tangential to that. It was delightful. I'd share, but it's been taken down.
Yeah, I've seen I guess clips but didn't know that was what it was from. I would love to see more of it!
The three generations of Villanueva women reminded me a lot of the three generations of Gilmores.
My sister and I have now watched the first maybe 10 episodes of Gilmore Girls. We have been looking for series to watch together that neither of us has watched. Our question is, does this go anywhere? We are finding it pretty boring so far. Pretty underwhelmed.
If you're not invested in the characters after 10 episodes, then I'm not sure it's for you.
Agreed. It is a show of characters and patter and if you don't find the first half of season 1 charming you won't like the rest either.
If you like the idea of an awwwwww show and GG isn't doing it for you, I personally suggest Joan of Arcadia if you can find it anywhere.
Thank you. I'll see if she wants to hang in there, or move on to something else.
