Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

Thrive to spite them

I read an interview that had some vague info about S4 so I posted what I know in spoilers

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're all caught up on the sitcoms we're currently watching, and since Good Place is done for the season, we decided to catch up where we left off on Brooklyn Nine Nine. It looks like we left off somewhere in the middle of Season 3, not because we weren't enjoying the show, but because it was one of the shows that fell through the cracks when ltc was born. So, I've requested S3 DVDs from the library.

Our wings are not tired.

We're on S4E16 of Brooklyn Nine Nine. I watch them on Hulu. When DH gets home from basketball practice in the late evening and tries to watch news I give him the stink eye and say Nine Nine! Sorry Rachel.

They go pretty quickly so I'm going to have to pick a comedy replacement soon. My first rule is I can't stand laugh tracks so I found a page with a list! There are a few that I haven't watched, well most really, but a few I am interested in watching. [link]

Not sure what you've seen but from that list I'd recommend:

Community
New Girl
Malcolm in the Middle
Everybody Hates Chris
Superstore

I've watched a lot, but not all, of Malcolm in the Middle and have great love. That would be a very nice summer binge. Superstore is a real possibility.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Man, I'm gonna miss Gina. That was lovely.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We missed Parks& Rec the first time around, so we are watching an episode every night during dinner. Loving it and everyone in it or who wrote for it (such as Chelsea Peretti!). We are at election night for Lesley on the city council.

And of course 99 is the greatest.

Cheers to the Ninety-ninth precinct! Catching up on the past couple of episodes. Doug Judy!

I'm just gonna put this out there: Jake never having had to deal with the death of someone he's close to better not be foreshadowing.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Man, that episode of Brooklyn Nine Nine was really well done without being heavy-handed (although considering how well "Moo Moo" was done, I'm not surprised at this episode.)

But also, give Andre Braugher a goddamn Emmy NOW.
