"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

msbelle, she already played her mother in a previous episode. So, I guess they decided to keep her instead of an older actress.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Between Eleanor's mom and Jason's dad I'm almost suspecting that this too young parental casting Means Something

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think both characters are younger than the actors. No way Eleanor Shelstrop is 38 years old.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

And I could easily see Donkey Doug only being 13 or 14 years older than his son.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

So... Lil Sebastian *isn't* up in horsey heaven?

What is even happening?

Does amych post here at all? Did you all notice the Peter Singer book at the opening of tonight's episode of The Good Place? I think he's her relative (or another Buffista's relative, maybe).

Punishingly Intricate

I don't know about that, but this episode was awesome! Woo! And now we're going to the void and maybe to the Accountants! Yes!
