Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Give a little Ted Dansonstyle malicious chuckle when you hand it out to them!

I'm afraid that chuckle is beyond the range of mere mortals.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

My favorite joke last night was theone about The New Yorker. I was a subscriber at some point when I was in college, figuring it would up my intellectual game or something. After a year all I'd accomplished was to pile up a stack of mostly unread issues along with a bunch of unopened renewal notices.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I still subscribe, and I mostly read them when they come in (even if it's just one story per issue), but the giant stack of New Yorkers as human torture? TRUTH.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Really want a burrito now. Envy optional.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I was a bit huh? at the Supreme Judge being so well versed in current pop culture trivia given that it's been thousands of years since our foursome croaked. But she probably tailors her references to the folks being judged? *handwave* And she has a point - who doesn't see Kyle Chandler and immediately think "Coach Taylor would NEVER."

Both Superstore and The Good Place had Bloodline jokes last night. Maybe they planned it, maybe it's serendipity.

I put my hand over my chest and went UNHHHHH when Eleanor was like, "that's not the Chidi *I* know." And she gave up her Good Place ticket for her friends (totally unselfishly, without even saying anything about it!) Oh Eleanor.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I wonder if that noble self-sacrifice on Eleanor's part might be the key to ultimately getting all four free of the Bad Place?

I was very glad to see that the Chidi from Eleanor's test was a simulacrum, because that means Tahani's parents might still be enjoying the attentions of the butt spiders in the Bad Place.

Thrive to spite them

I thought that Tahani's parents were a construct like fake Chidi.

I kept assuming Bad Janet was really good Janet but then wondered if that would be a trick as Bad Janet pretending to be Good Janet pretedning to be Bad Janet.

The end of then episode felt like a cliffhanger to me. Or maybe it just felt abrupt and I wasnt ready to leave The Good Place yet.

How did the very last moment of the episode go? My recording cut off just as Michael and Janet emerged from the portal.

All you missed was Michael saying "Hi guys. What's up?"
