Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Matilda's birthday party day ended with her and her friend D. who lives around the corner (literally around the corner; they can stand on their back porches and wave to each other) cuddled up on the couch watching The Good Place (D. had seen all of Season 1, but not the new ones), and D. just kept enthusing, "This is so good! It's so great! I love this!"

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I just SUPER DUPER love The Good Place, y'all.

Though I was really rooting for Mindy St. Clair to get that cocaine.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Yeah, me too. Mindy is the only other human that knows what's going on.

So, since the neighborhood reset to the frozen yogurt version, and Vicki (and the other demons, I presume) think the humans were rebooted, was Janet rebooted, too? I'm guessing yes.

And we know Janet is from the real Good Place. Though -- shouldn't their security be better? How could they steal a Janet from heaven?

What do Good Place people know about cyber security? All the people who think like hackers are probably getting their penises flattened or something.

I don't think Janet was rebooted. But every time she is, she becomes more emotionally powerful.

Oh, right, because she's on Team Cockroach now!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Not having seen a lot of the first season, I'd been assuming that Tahani's sister was a living saint that she could never live up to. But last night showed her to be a sneering bitch who's onboard with having a literal graven image of herself displayed for public adulation. Given that it's been 30+ years since Tahani died, my money is on her now being somewhere in the Bad Place and a possible future guest star.

Did anyone else think they recast the sister's part? She didn't look the same to me...

Matt, I was thinking the same thing. That would be fun.

I was wondering about that, too. OTOH, part of her brand was constantly changing her look.

I was also wondering whether the show is now turning into Hogan's Heroes, except with Colonel Klink as an ally.
