Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Is it on Hulu? I feel like I need to binge-watch it.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I wouldn't usually whitefont, but this one sort of deserves it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

It is, Tep, the whole season.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yay! I made it without being spoiled!

ZOMG Ted Danson.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Though my first thought was

Why didn't Eleanor write "This is actually the Bad Place?"

Because she wouldn't believe it? Or, maybe more likely, she was invested in the idea that the four of them, and in particular she and Chidi, were better (ethically and in general) together than apart and that reuniting was the top priority.

Okay, I buy that.

The guy who plays Chidi is so funny. His reactions to things give me joy.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yes, Consuela. I was expecting that we would find out Tahani didn't belong in the Good Place, and I even thought maybe everyone was in the wrong place, but it actually being the Bad Place and Ted Danson's character being evil, I definitely didn't see coming! It was so good. I really hope it's renewed.
