Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Oh, it was fabulous. He is just so damn GOOD.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I was enjoying Younger, but the last two episodes of the season were too ridiculous, even for this show.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Oh, last 2 episodes on my DVR now. Grain of salt duly added.

Epic, let me know what you think after you watch them, please. I suggest watching them together.

Now that I've seen it, I get it--soap, much? I liked it overall, still, but, yeah, sure.

Just wait. It gets soapier.

Of COURSE he had a twin! (I don't know if I'd go so far as "evil", but certainly creeper).

Intrigued by Josh v. Charles. (As much as I know Charles would be a much wiser choice for her, I just LOVE Josh SO MUCH).

Overall, wish she would tell.

So, impressions after a bit of time to digest: I enjoyed the eps well enough as I was watching them, but after a bit of time, I agree that I wish it wasn't going so ridiculous and soap-y. This isn't the show I signed up for. The basic premise was ridiculous enough without blackmail, freak accidents, and evil creeper twins.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Being in sick all weekend had its silver lining: I spent much of it binge-watching The Flip Wilson Show. Flip himself was a comic genius. Familiar guests as you're not used to seeing them, leading to comedy. (Flip tries to direct temperamental Method Actress Barbara Feldon and her actor husband Phil Silvers in a soup commercial. Oh, and the Feldon and Silvers characters can't stand each other.) A range of musical guests from Dionne Warwicke and the Fifth Dimension to Taj Mahal to the Clara Ward Gospel Singers. Unexpected surprise appearances (Dean Martin shows up for a drink -- of water.)

Side note: Flip may have originated the phrase, "What you see is what you get."

So check it out. If anyone asks you why, tell them the devil made you do it.
