My thought upon watching the first few minutes of the new Odd Couple is didn't Matthew Perry already star in a failed sitcom where he played a radio sports reporter?
All of his post-FRIENDS work blurs into one long parade of failed comedy to me.

That's pretty funny. I actually liked that one, good supporting cast, can't think of the title.

I liked Go On but have to agree that it's weird that the Odd Couple role is basically an unshaved version of that one.
I watched the Jack Klugman/Tony Randall show and found the Perry pilot absolutely painful.

Unshaven and divorced instead of widowed. I guess they wanted to stick close to the original profession of Sport's writer.
