I don't think he's as deep as he thinks he is. Though it gives me no pleasure to say so.
He has done amazing work. I can't begrudge him going off to do new things, even if they suck.
I'm hoping more for a comedy bent. We'll see, I guess. Hell, maybe he'll just say, "Fuck it. I'm retiring. Laters," and enjoy his family, friends, and prosperity... with some philanthropy mixed in.
The thought of him having dinner on a school night with his family pleases me. I doubt he'll stick to that for too long, but it's a nice thought.
Well, we know he'll be a fairly regular guest on Colbert's Late Show.
