That was good.
Comedy 1: A Little Song, a Little Dance, a Little Seltzer Down Your Pants

I'm watching Blackish. It's cute, but I usually don't find myself laughing out loud. Thought the episode where the mom was trying to convince the youngest daughter to become a doctor was the funniest one to date. It's better than I thought it was going to be after seeing the first episode, so there's that.

Definitely. I think placing the grand-dad at one end of the judgement, and the way each parent reacts is well-designed. I do not really like the kids, though, except as object lesson of the week's themes. Youngest daughter is too on the nose.
They kind of...aren't quite characters, are they?
Colbert just tweeted that his show is running about 10 minutes long tonight.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine flashbacks to Holt with hair are the funniest thing ever.
Much as I love the entire gang, if Jake, Rosa, and Doug Judy went off to have a spinoff show by themselves, I'd totally watch. Those three are made of magic, seriously.
Mention of Tom Cruise and the Edge of Tomorrow in Natter reminded me - the unaired episodes of Selfie that have been coming out weekly On Demand and on Hulu (and probably other places) have gotten pretty good.

I love it, and it has been getting great reviews online. I wish it would get picked up somewhere else. I also wish Selfie and A to Z had been on the same network and paired together on the same night. Both were paired with clunkers, which probably didn't help them.
That is an interesting proposition. I don't know if they would have paired up well, but I liked both (and had no interest in the shows each was paired with), so maybe!
I really wanted A to Z to be able to get through it's specific timeframe - what was it, 8 months? That doesn't seem like so much to ask.
