Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

I find I'm really enjoying The Mindy Project these days, but I have to avoid New Girl because the increasingly strong urge to punch out Zooey Deschanel endangers the TV set and it's not mine to break.

Hey. New board.

I watched the first episode of that show with the mother from HIMYM. It was pretty good and cute. Not mindblowingly anything yet but enjoyable enough.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I recorded that but haven't watched it yet.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I didn't know there was a show with her! After HIMYM I would watch her do anything (especially if they can contrive to have her sing some Piaf while doing it). Anything except breed a brood and then die mostly offscreen after about eleven seconds of exposition so that her grieving spouse can scurry off to rekindle a romance nobody but the showrunners still cares about. Seeing her do that once was more than enough.

Not that I'm still bitter about it or anything. Heaven forfend!

The status is NOT quo.

Is anyone else watching Black-ish? I'm really enjoying it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm loving black-ish.

A to Z is the most adorable show I have seen in a long time and not sickeningly sweet in a way I usually find annoying.

Selfie needs a Colonel Pickering character and an end goal (at least for the season) to really do the whole My Fair Lady thing properly, but I didn't find it as horrible as many people seemed to.

I have Bad Judge on the DVR but haven't watched it yet.

Agree. I thought it might be too cute for me, but it wasn't. I liked the characters, which is about 95% of the battle these days.

Yes! Particularly liked the running gag with the two youngest kids on the last episode.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine! Everything Terry does is magic!

True words.

Community: Sad Yvette has to leave. I'll miss Shirley for lots of reasons, but among them, she has some of the best, subtle throw-away-line deliveries.

HOMG, yes! I missed it Sunday, because I went to bed early with a monster cold, so I just caught it last night. We came it late to the B99 game, because we don't usually do sit-coms -- though D watches Community -- and it is screamingly funny.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

OK, having read 3/4 of Gone Girl, and already knowing the very end, watching this Daily Show where they have Jason Jones hosting and Samantha Bee as a reporter makes me think they could do the absolute PERFECT VERSION of the book that it may deserve (since I'm disliking it more and more, but, damn, it is a well written piece of provocation). I think I'm going to be substituting those two for Ben and Rosamund when I go see the movie, because I will see it (fuck you Fincher but you are talented).

Probably should x-post this in movies, but it was the Daily Show stuff that had me on this track.
